The Story

Excerpt from Bliss4Everyone

Peace is among the highest of values. For the Bi’nar Expanse it is supreme, the occupants insisting unjust qualities shine during conflict. Yet peace is merely one phase in a cycle gripping all worlds. A concept never to be achieved, only momentarily experienced and enjoyed.

Coming Together is the Beginning

2081 - the peak of moral injustices infecting all worlds, spiraling Morst into war. Precursing the pinnacle of corruption was the Unrest, which led to the formation of the Planetary Cooperation Union (PCU) in 2087. Nicknamed the “Last War,” the conflict spanning from 2081 to 2087 scarred the minds of all who experienced it.

Now with the time of Unrest ending, Bi'Nar Expanse citizens enjoy an age of peace. Commerce, cooperation, education, and justice systems flourish under a representative council from each galaxy; these leaders, guided by Hailehardt in particular, built a cooperative interplanetary infrastructure.

Compromise a Challenge

The natural enemies are not rivaling ideals but the perpetual struggle of those who believe in compromise pitted against those seeking control.

Nahv 14th, 2099—started similarly to any other day. The BlissAngels had eliminated the threat, so the inhabitants of Morst dwindled back into a foggy routine. The hubbub of conflicting information plastered over consumption outlets silenced. No cares brushed the minds of those blissfully unaware of what would unfold.

Enduring the Ultimate Test

Lying in the crumbled remains of a once perfect utopia, the Planetary Cooperation Union is now only faded, tampered fiction. Nothing is safe from alteration—no emotion, thought, or memory. Decades after the UnRest and falsified salvation, the technology created to harness peace has been lost, scattered, and erased from existence. Leaving in its absence a broken society confused by imposition.

History was adjusted, with minds blissfully unaware of the power struggle that hung their fate in the balance. If happiness is a virtue, what is the moral cost? When the truth is uncovered, only one can decide the outcome.
